~ Friday ~

These sentiments are a few days early...but I won't be around on Mother's Day, because I'm going to visit with my own Mom.

So, if you're a Mom ~ may you enjoy a wonderful day visting with your own children [if distance permits]; and if you're visiting with your own Mom ~ have a great day!

I'm remiss in posting pic[s] of Landry with his glasses...we find he looks as if he's always worn them.  He's been better about keeping them on than his Mom ever dreamed he'd be...she does say that the days he has to be patched, he gets somewhat emotional.  The patching will be for a month and not the 2 wks. she thought it would be.  Nevertheless, here's the little dynamo...

Leaving the eye doc's office with the new glasses.  [cell phone pic, sorry for poor quality]

He is pretending to be "Walker, Texas Ranger"...something at first he said he couldn't do with his glasses.  [Walker doesn't wear glasses, ya know.]  Those boots, aahhhh, the boots.  Those were Kendin's "fire boots" [they look like little fire engines].  Kendin about lived in these things, with the matching coat of course, and now it's Landry's turn.  [His foot isn't big enough for "cowboy boots" yet, so he makes do.]  Anyway, enjoy the giggles I know will be had looking at this pic.

Seanna went on vacation a couple of wks. ago and this has to be one of my favorite pics of her...

Doesn't look as if she's impressed with being bundled against the elements, huh?

Outlook much improved..."I'm going to the indoor pool!"

Hubby and I went to watch Kendin and Braylin play softball [last wk.].  As both games were at the same time, on different fields, it was somewhat difficult to say we watched them play...lol

My hubby says Braylin always has time for a "photo op", lol

She's catching in this photo.  She has played about every position except Short Stop, she likes First Base, but so far, it seems by being versitile the coach hasn't assigned her any one position.

       Kendin taking a practice swing

Playing catcher, too.  In Kendin's division score is not kept, the coaches are the pitchers, and they play for 1 hour, not innings.  Of course, the kids are purposely moved from positions in this division, so they can find their niche before moving up to the divisions where score is kept.  lol

The "illness" from this past Saturday has reared itself again.  Not for the same reason... the computer, but another entirely.  An assumption that dear old Mom [me] was going to just hand over a nice cell phone [a Krzr] to them because once again [for how many times in the past year]  the Sig. Other has broken/destroyed a cell phone?

Even if the incident with the computer hadn't occurred, the Krzr cell phone I was "expected" to offer up, wouldn't have been [offered].  I find it "ballsy" for them to even think I would say "Oh yes, you can have/use this phone", especially  after the computer mess?

Appx. 18 mos. ago I gave my son a Samsung cell with all the accessories: 2 chargers, the book, the case, etc.  I asked 4 different times where was this phone, as all that was needed was to activate it?  Here was my answer from Sig Other: "C {my son} let D {her step sister} "use" the Samsung, and D got water on/in it."  [What's this "use" crap?]  This means that nice little camera phone is kaput.

I informed both [son & SO] that my Krzr wasn't going anywhere, it will stay in my possession.  However, I do have an older phone here, and they are welcome to it.  [They'll have to buy chargers and activate it.]  I sent pictures, and ask that they discuss the matter and let me know of their decision.  Yeah right!   G-a-s-p it's not a camera phone, so do ya think that offer has been accepted?  [I take good care of my phones, and this one looks very close to the way it did the day I bought it over 5 yrs. ago.]  I imparted to my son "Beggers can't be choosers", and let him know SO would have to ask her folks for a new phone.

Everyone say a little prayer that I don't choke them both out, when I see them on Sunday.  lol

Blessings.
