The Sailor's Wife

All the excitement is over.  The dress is hung up and is waiting to be taken to the dry cleaners on Monday.  The torn pantyhose are in he trash.  James' dress uniform hung back into the uniform closet until he needs it again.  Everyone was pooped last night after they got home.  But what a great time they had.  Each girl at the dance received a tiarra.  There were over 800 father's and daughter's at the dance.  It even made it on the news last night.  James and Savanah won 2 tickets to any Padre's game (except playoff's) and  a Swing dance lessons for 2, and a $25 cheesecake factory gift certificate!  WHOO HOO Cheesecake!!!!   Savanah ADORES cheesecake!  It's an obsession for her.  She loves cheesecake and brownies. 

We are invited to a bowling party birthday today at 3pm.  I am so not wanting to go but Vanna loves to bowl.  James' back is killing him today so I know he is not looking forward to going.  Maybe just for an hour or so he can take Savanah up there.  It's all the way by the commisary so, I might as well send them with a list!  This is what  like to call Multi-tasking!  I am going to be making the apple dumplings that Ree @Pioneer Woman Cook.com made and also Full bellies made the same thing the same week, so I just HAVE to make them.  I am actually making them Sunday for tempura night.  Along with a nice big spinach and baby greens salad, and sticky rice.  Can't wait!

  Lets recap....I go have dinner at someones home and your not a happy camper...you go have dinner and I am suppose to not say anything?? Ok so the same applies that you told me....your not taking application for a new best friend and you need to tell your neighbor that....LMAO!!! Huggs Robin

  My family loves to go bowling! I enjoy it too, so much fun to watch the boys have so much fun with it! I hope Savahana had a good time at the party and I'm with you on the multi tasking there! :) LOL
