The Sailor's Wife

My Darling Savanah left for Grandmama's today and is safe and sound and I MISS HER ALREADY!  I am sure she will have a blast without me.  I know my mom needs to spend time with Savanah too but it just does not seem fair to me!  I want her all to myself!  And let's talk about the Man for a second....OMG he was a weepy little pansy ass today at the airport.  He was worse than any mother I have ever seen saying goodbye to their little ones!  He embarrassed the heck outta me, and then well AFTER the plane took off he wanted to stay.....and just gaze into the sky.....!  What in the world am I supposed to do with him!? 

And while we are talking about the Man...let me tell you....he is sooooo loving all the love ya'll are giving him.  His head barely fit into the door today.  He is so funny!

Tonight after Savanah left we went over to a friends house to celebrate her birthday.  Her parents were there and since James grilled steak tonight, we did not partake in the dinner, but James picked up a cake for her and some roses.  Her hubby is a friend of James' and deployed so whenever she needs something, James feels he should help....an so do I.  Anyways, back to the story....so we eat cake and are just all relaxing and chit chatting and James decides to clean her kitchen since it is her birthday and all.  And you can ask anyone of my friends, If we come eat at your house, James will do your dishes and scrub the stove and sweep the floors too.   I don't know why, he has just always been like that.....and I am not gonna tell him not to! 

I think I already mentioned this but this is offically the first time EVER that James and I have the house all to ourselves and have alone time, and he is actually home, not out to sea, or working like a dog(that starts the week Vanna comes home....).  So we are not sure what to do with ourselves really other than sit around in our birthday suits, James doing his sudoku and me working on my journal.....we are so not the young hot people we once were.  We could go days without sleep and would stay up all night talking and getting freaky....now....we are just LAZY and boring. 

I am sleeping in tomorrow and then when James gets out of school we are supposed to take the car to get the estimate.  Big fun right?  James has the second part of his final exam in the morning, and then he is done with everything except graduation Friday morning.  Please say a prayer for him. 

I am still trying to find some help with building my website.  I just can't seem to get it done.  Were going on a month now and it is still the same....I just can't fix it.  I am about to give up as it is just a waste of money right now.  I dunno I have really wanted this for a long time.  One stop shopping for all my stuff.  I will continue to pray for someone that is a genius and a generous person.

I think I will bake something yummy for James this week.  I am also looking for some really goodbreaqd machine recipes so if ya'll have any...email them to me PLEASE with a cherry on top!  Please use my yahoo email

If I have time this week I will work on those recipes ya'll have been asking for, thought I never measure unless I am baking.  I can give my best estimates though! 

Well, since I wore make up for the first time in FOREVER...I better get all this stuff off cause it is starting to bother me big time.  And did you know that baby shampoo is the BEST ever eye makeup remover.  And the best part is it's cheap if you buy generic, it does not irritate your eyes or clog your tear ducts.  And it makesthe skin around your eyes so soft!  And your makeup will be washed away and you will not have raccoon eyes when you wake up!

  Ha I was laughing at Becky's comment there!  Ya old age kinda makes people boring doesn't it? lol  I don't doubt that you will find something interesting to do while Savanah is away! lol

  I just know you are missing Savanah so much but you will have some wonderful husband and wife time... which is also a precious thing!!  Savanah is going to come back to you spoiled with happy memories!!!  Hugs,
