End of Day 2
Well, Indy testing is finally done. We tried a lot of different things on the AOL Chevrolet here at the test and it seemed to work out well for us. The crew worked really hard on all the changes as I hopped back and forth between the two cars we had here. I really think it will be good when we come back for the Brickyard 400 in a few weeks.
We ran in race trim for most of the day today, then the guys switched it over to do a qualifying run right at the end of the day. Turns out things look good, we topped the charts for the afternoon session, posting a 50.7105 second lap, which translates to 177.478 mph. It sure feels good to see your name on top of the chart!
I hope everyone enjoyed my daily journals from the Brickyard. I'll be doing this again during race week, so make sure to check back!

BEEN WAITING FOR 3 YEARS FOR THAT WIN. I BELIEVE YOU ARE REAL CLOSE. YOU HAVE WORKED HARD TO GET IT AND GOD KNOWS YOU DESERVE IT. THE THING THAT YOU SHOULD BE PROUDEST OF IS THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE RACED EVERY RACE CLEAN. WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU AT A RACE SOMETIME.
THE WIN WILL COME

I work at a restaurant near your home town, and have followed your career for many, many years. I have gone to the speedway as often as possible to see you but have yet to meet you in person. I just want you to know that I admire and support you. I have total faith that you are going to take that checkered flag some time soon, just keep up what your doing. Richard is the best thing that has happened to you yet. I joke with your cousin Ethel May all the time that I've put away my Jasper with my Amacco belongings but I have a feeling AOL is here to stay!!!! I always have my nails painted with what ever you are driving and will continue to do so to show my support for you!! I LOVE YOU DAVE GO GET 'EM
