Patty Lynn was a 17 year old junior at Lee Academy when she

was killed in an automobile accident on May 8, 2002, while

returning home from an after school appointment. Since

last year’s Patty’s Race, 2 schoolmates of hers have been

killed, both by roadside bombs while serving in Iraq. In

Patty’s memory, this year, one third of the profits from

Patty’s race will be donated to the scholarship at Lee Academy

of Sgt Joel House and one third to Sgt Blair Emery’s.

COURSE: 5K, beautiful woods trails, dirt roads and some pavement.

FACILITIES: Lee Academy gym, bathroom/changing rooms, water stations.

AWARDS: Certificates to the following finishers;

• Male and Female: 1st, 2nd and 3rd  overall.
• Male and Female: 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the following age categories;

            12 and under, 13–18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.

       .    Award for all baby stroller participants.

• No duplicate award winners. No separate awards category for walkers.
