Feeling Quiet
Hearing The Local Weather Forecast
Wrong Side Of Katrina
Well, as of last night we were supposed to be on the west side of the hurricane but looking at its predicted path, this morning, it seems we'll be on the east side. This is the side that causes all the damage. Time will tell but it's looking a bit rough. She's also slowed down so now she'll have more time to strengthen.
Pam's Doc appt went well. He told her the area is healing but very slowly and he expected that. The pain she is having is coming from the area they had to burn with silver nitrate. He says it has exposed an accessory nerve but the skin should grow back over that relatively quickly. In the mean time she still has the dilaudid to use during dressing change.
I was going to put out grass seed this weekend. But, considering the storm I think I will wait. I will be rushing to get the lawn mowed and edged this evening. Should be a fun day. LOL The best thing about today is that it's Friday.
Oh, if I forget to post this over the weekend please remind me. I never have much time in the morning before work. But, in a nutshell my Mom found the guy she went to her Middle School prom with. Very cool!!!!
Have a great day! Here's what Katrina's up to.

Take care with this hurricane....so much rain and flooding...and also I hope you stock up on all your supplies. We do it here, no matter what...one just never knows...best have everything, than nothing. Very happy Pam's appt. went well. I agree on rhe grass seed. Washing it away with heavy rains and wind, it won't grow...
That is so cool about your Mom....keep us posted on the storms! Thanks for the path updates!
