New Release Wisdom
'Alligator' -- The National
Like a barfly Leonard Cohen fronting Wilco (minus all those pesky Chicago post-rock influences), this Brooklyn-based group give us a lot to love on their latest disc. Favorite tracks so far crowd up the second half of the album. Check out 'Abel,' 'The Geese of Beverly Road' and 'All the Wine' (which can also be found on last year's 'Cherry Tree' EP.)
