Seg's the way.

Now we can all be like G.O.B. on 'Arrested Development.' Over the weekend, I spotted a bunch of uncertain-looking tourists careening -- er, gliding -- down 14th Street on flag-decorated Segways. Sure enough, a company called City Segway Tours is renting 'em out at $65 for a four-hour guided tour, including a 30-minute training session. You can opt for either the day tour or night tour, but the stops are the same, covering the White House and most memorials/monuments. If you're looking to out-quirk the DC Ducks tour, this could be it. Hey, I'd do it. Then again, rollerblading has sent me to the emergency room in the past, so maybe you make your own decision, buddy.

(Many thanks to our Anonymous Photoblogger for the pic!)
