Tupac's New Record

The Chappelle's Show "lost episodes" began airing this week and, while the whole show was a mild disappointment, this sketch is hilarious. It's basically Chappelle and a bunch of people in a club reacting to ?uestlove from the Roots dropping "that new Tupac." The song goes on to predict all this stuff that happened after Pac's passing. It's really clever and absurd and follow the link above to watch it on YouTube.

Borat Has a Site

Jagshemash! Sasha Baron Cohen's Borat character has a web site with a trailer for the Borat movie, coming out this fall, that looks hilarious. Early oddsmakers have it being even funnier than Talladega Nights, which is quite an accomplishment.

This t-shirt may only cost $15, but I just don't think I could pull it off quite as gangster as these guys do...

'Crazy' All Slowed Down

Tamar Superstar sends this video of Gnarls Barkley performing their ubiqutious hit 'Crazy' all slowed down on Top of the Pops. The performance, like all of their's that I've seen, is naturally a tripped-out novelty and certainly speaks to the genius that is DJ Danger Mouse. Look at the hot streak this guy is on...

The Grey Album ---> Gorillaz ---> Dangerdoom ---> Gnarls Barkley

Can't wait to see what he does next. Also, I really wanna see that episode of 'My Super Sweet 16' starring Cee-Lo's daughter again.

Wolfmother Rocks Black Cat

I was entertaining notions of seeing Aussie new-metals rockers Wolfmother at Black Cat this week, but the show was on a Tuesday night and I'm not really familiar with their work and I decided to stay home to watch Real World: Key West (not really). Thankfully, as if just to make me feel bad, my man Jeff from AOL And I Am Not Lying, For Real was there to chronicle the show.

Sounds like I will not be missing their next gig in DC, which Jeff says will be at either 9:30 or Nissan.

Nickelback's 'Frodo Graph'

My old soul sister Tamar sent this a few weeks ago and it's haunted me ever since, a video send up of Nickelback's smash hit 'Photograph.' Extremely creative and pointless and funny.
