On tonight's Sports Bloggers Live (7-8PM ET) we're leading off the show w/ a 15-minute debate about the sporting world's most-hated athletes; which is appropriate considering Barry Bonds and Randy Moss have both increased the ink market over the past seven days. Joining us for the conversation will be AOL Sports and Denver Post columnist Jim Armstrong and OffWing.com blog extraordinaire Eric McErlain.

But who is your most-hated athlete? We want your opinions to share on-air. Judging by my experience in interacting w/ sports fans in this space over the past year, I'd rank the list in this order:

  JJ Redick, in my opinion, is THE MOST HATED PLAYER EVER!!! There are 65 google pages on just that subject. JJ redick was taunted at EVRY game and was called around 60-75 times a night mostly from MD fans, tellin him he sucked. JJ had to change his number 5 times. People spread rumors about him, his family, and they made sick jokes about his sister and brother. JJ may be cocky but he has a DEFINITE REASON. He'll pull a jumper right in your face without you even seeing him.........I would hate him, too.

  1. Terrell Ownes.  Terrell, you go into the same dirt as everyone else on the face of this earth.  Without athletics and the fools who pay to see this egomaniac, he would be just another thug.
  
  2. Barry Bonds.  Get over yourself Barry.  Another loser in the Hall of Shame.  Parents don't let your kids near this loser.
  
  3. Tom Seaver.  Tom, you may have been a hero and terrific to many, but the things you say to dumb kids who looked up to you are unhealed scars.  Hope your kids know the real Tom Horrific!
  
  4. OJ Simpson.  OJ....You may have fooled the jury--but simply put, you should be on Death Row for the double homocides you committed.  
  
  5. Ron Artest. Ron, do your kids know you have mental problems?  Figure this one out, the NBA pays his salary.  In the real world you would be scrfubbing the scum from toilets or in jail.
