BYU Over the 'Cuse?
I was all set to go w/ Manhattan as my only victorious 12 seed until tcs5384 made a compelling argument for BYU in a comment to one of my earlier entries. Plus, I've been a 'Cuse skeptic since they needed a buzzer-beater to win Big East bottom-feeder Georgetown. Check this out:
"Nobody gives BYU any respect. Despite an RPI of 31, a win over OK St., and a 2nd-place finish in the Mountain West, they got... a #12 seed. Not to mention they'll be playing in Denver -- and with the Cougars' up-tempo style, the altitude will make a difference."
I have officially updated my bracket accordingly. Who are your sure-shot upsets?
