The season is already in full swing, the O's are competitive for the first time in years, my fantasy team is making me look prescient and the Yanks & Red Sox are set to play for the first in 2004. All is right w/ the world.

Brainwaves from the season's first coupla weeks...

~ Best line about Johnny Damon's Jesus hairstyle comes from AOL's Jim Armstrong: "Forget steroids. He looks like he just tested positive for Rogaine."

~ The MVP of my fantasy league is Scott friggin' Podsednik. The guy already has 7 steals and has my l'il brother's sorry squad in first place.

~ Whatchu talkin' bout Dontrelle Willis has pitched 2 games, given up 0 runs in 12+ innings and is a perfect 6-for-6 (w/ a HR!). He did hit .240 last year and start off real strong, but I've never heard of a 2-game stretch like this. Here's to a good year from Dontrelle, an electric personality who's always fun to watch.
