Legends of the Pool
I've been away too long to give the NCAA Tournament the attention she deserves, but just know this: I won mad paper in my bracket pool for the second year in a row. For picking UConn to win and Duke and OK St. to show, I came in 2nd by the slimmest of margins (Cincy over Illinois in the 2nd round was my misstep).
This marks the 2nd year I've collected scratch, which is odd b/c the general belief is those that don't know anything about hoops win the bracket pools. Maybe there's something to that...
Anyway, congrats to the Huskies. Okafor was DA MAN in the Final Four. So dominant. It'l be hard for an NBA GM to pas him up for some high school kid in the Draft, but more on that later. Even w/out Okafor and Gordon, UConn should be a top 10-20 team next year. They're that young, talented and experienced.
