Hearing Haram (DC rock -- support a movement, damn it)

Orange Bowl Fallout

Unless you were a USC fan or NFL scout, it was a horrible, horrible game. The Trojans looked like a pro team and the Sooners did not. Fortunately, other bloggers had more to say...

· Sportz Assassin: "The USC Trojans win their second straight AP Championship (Nebraska did that a decade ago), marking an end of a great two-season run... or maybe just a continuance of something bigger -- a dynamic era of Trojan pigskin. I guess Auburn will settle for the Golf Digest title."

· Premature Jockularity: "The Trojans made them pay. Jason White throwing into quadruple coverage -- did he buy that seat next to Matt Leinart in the Heisman front row? Mark Bradley trying to pick up a nearly dead ball inside his own 5 in a crowd of red jerseys -- now that was your Pontiac Game-Changing Moment. Can we get USAirways to sponsor a Bonehead Play of the Year award next season?"

· Coztanza's Commentary: "College football wants the BCS Championship Game to resemble the Super Bowl. This year it did -- an enormous amount of hype turned into a dominant performance by one team. How many times have we seen that happen in the NFL's version of the big game?"

· Show Me Your Blog: "As horribly crappy as Oklahoma played last night in their 674-19 loss to USC, there were two specific people who put on more embarrassing performances. These two wonderfully entertaining people are Ashlee Simpson and Landon from Real World Philadelphia."

 L.A. Kings High on Life

And it's never too early to look forward to next year. ESPN's Pat Forde already posted the 2005 Top 25. Here are his top five:

1. USC
2. Texas
3. Michigan
4. Miami
5. Oklahoma

I was impressed by the great pride OU fans have and the way they behaved downhere in Miami during the Orange Bowl out of sink and meltdown. The Sooners will bounce back from this horrible debacle. No explanation for the game.It seemed like the troops never were aligned.Mental mistakes and decisions not meant to be by a reputable offenive line with experienced.Well, let us be blessed that we have the Sooners for next year and forever.
The OU alumni we experienced in Miami do a lot of chariteable work for the South Florida community. Please check on www.themiamisooners.com
