Next Year's Hoops Top 25
Last week, Chris from Bracketology 101 came on SBL and bracketologized the four No. 1s for next year's March Madness: Duke, UConn, 'Nova and Oklahoma (Hear the clip.). And I just came across this jewel on ESPN.com -- Andy Katz's 2005-06 early top 25.
Katz has the audicity to leave Maryland off the list. Remember that as Gilchrist goes pro (I hope) and the Turtles make it to the Sweet 16 yet again.
Here are Katz's top 10 (remember, he picked Wake to win the Dance the day before the Tournament):
1. UConn
2. Duke
3. UNC
4. 'Nova
5. Texas
6. Gonzaga
7. Oklahoma
8. Wake Forest
9. Boston College
10. Michigan State

To the other post... Maryland does NOT belong in the top 10.. recall the tarheels destroying them 109-75? Andy Katz and the ESPN crew do know what they are talking about (esp. Dicky V). Except they can't get off their knees in front of Chris Paul and Wake Forest. Too bad he screwed his program, choked in the acc tourney and NCAA's... he should have been suspended for longer. GO TARHEELS

How come you're hackin on Katz. You had the audacity to leave out Louisville. Whats up with that? They have a good recruiting class comin in and they have a solid star to build around in Taquan Dean. They deserve a top 10 ranking just as much as the Terps.
