Hearing DangerDoom (DJ Danger Mouse + MC MF Doom)

Stewart Is the New Spidey, 'Pova Is the New 'Kova, etc.

The 20 car won for the third time in four races and celebrated by climbing the fence in front of 100,000 of New Hampshire's finest NASCAR fans. Follow the link to see a photo gallery of 'signature sports celebrations,' including Desmond Howard's Heisman pose:

 Great Pick by the 'Skins

More fun w/ links:

· The 'Pova and Roddick are hanging out.

· Quick Slants kept a diary for the ESPYs.

· Mark Cuban is interested in buying the Pirates.

· A man dated two women by pretending to be Steelers QBs Ben Roethlisberger and Brian St. Pierre.

· St. Louis Dispatch's Bernie Miklasz blasts ESPN for being the "Eastern Sports Programming Network" (link courtesy of Sports Frog).

· Sportz Assassin says Pat Riley shouldn't coach the Heat.

· My latest homeboys are Tony Gonzalez and Trent Green. Interviews with them will be part of Sports Bloggers Live's AFC West preview tonight, but you can hear the Gonzalez one here and the Green one here right now.

 Mr. I and Gonzo

 Mr. I and Green

· Finally, I got this email from new SBL listener Joe Dintino, who noticed I was wearing a vintage Art Monk #81 jersey in one of our promo photos:

"We all know his numbers and that he was the first player to 100+ receptions and all that. Is there another player in NFL history that was the all-time leader at his position at any point in time that didn't get in fairly quickly? Peter King is an ass. Heis trying to compare numbers that are only relative to the team you play on. YPC, TD, etc. King says Monk wasn't the most feared player on his offense. Monk was the one common skill position player of their 3 super bowl wins! There were not other WRs making 8-yard receptions over the middle on 3rd and 7.  The same case he (and others) make against Monk, they overlook for Irvin! Maybe Art should have done some cocaine, been accused of rape while holding a gun to a woman's head, and been a self-promoting jerk. How did Irvin go farther than Monk last vote?"

Monk's exclusion from the Hall confounds me as well. Not only did he hold the receptions in a season record for over 10 years, but he also retired as the all time career receptions leader as well. And, no, I'm not swayed by the fact that he's my favorite football player ever. Monk in '06!

Did you ever bonk an athlete in the front teeth with the mic while interviewing them?

"CONK (feedback)...oh, sorry about that, Mr. Gonzalez."

If not, I'd try it out on a tennis player or someone before trying it on, say, Tyson. The next Sports Community guy might not like my page.

u just called a guest on ur show an ass?????????????????????????????????

...you were absolutely right to do so.

Peter King doesn't know Jack about football. 'I don't believe the Broncos can win with Jake Plummer at quarterback" that's aload if shit. I was gonna call em' as for that as well as other things to call him an ass about but, Jaime did for me, And really for anyone who really knows football.
