Hearing Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
Vikings Sex Party Goes Overboard
This story keeps popping up today, so I might as well post it. Allegedly, upwards of 20 Vikings players took part in a floating party on two chartered boats that was organized by Fred Smoot and ended early when the crew complained about inappropriate behavior:
"[An attorney for the boat owners] said behavior on the cruise included oral sex, masturbation and playing with sex toys. A source with direct knowledge of the case said Tuesday that accounts of Vikings players having public sex on at least one of the boats matched with what witnesses had reported."
Of course, The Mighty MJD is all over the story:
"Potentially embarrassing stories like this one usually get ignored on pregame show's like NFL Countdown. But this one is getting some major ink in the Minnesota newspapers. I can't wait for more details to surface, and to see how they handle it this weekend. On Sunday morning, I just really want to hear Chris Berman ask Michael Irvin how a mid-week orgy affected his performance on the field... because you know he has an answer."
Minnesota Sports (the resident Vikings blog over at Pigskin Bloggers), had this to say:
"All of this is, of course, unproven. But that's beside the point. I'm just sick of the incredibly undisciplined state of this team. And you can see that on the field, and obviously, off the field. Look at the penalties they rack up during every single game. And look at the players who are getting into trouble: Onterrio Smith, Bryant McKinnie, and in this case, Fred Smoot. Those guys are all starters...I mean, if the players DO get into trouble, why couldn't it be a practice squad guy or something?"
Belly Check, as usual, makes me laugh:
"No wonder Randy was in such a hurry to get off the field last year."
This picture was actually taken at the Madden Release Party back in June, and there is no evidence that Culpepper participated or was even at the Vikings sex party... but it's hilarious nonetheless.

Sportz, you're absolutely right about Tice being a complete embarrasment to the Vikings. He has absolutely NO authority over this team. It's too bad Coughlin is with the Giants right now, because he very well may be the best fit for this team.
