Week 9 Picks and Quips

The weekly opinions and links of the NFL Pigskin Bloggers network have been posted. Check 'em out, and here's a sample from the game of the week/season:

Colts at Pats (+3) -- "Bill Belichick is going to wish that he never left the 1975 coaching staff of the Baltimore Colts after Monday night. Teddy Bruschi is going to wish that he stayed in bed the rest of the season. Tom Brady is going to feel like a NY Yankee as this is the end of a Dynasty. Dont get me wrong, it was a good run, but it is time to sitback and regroup." [Dungy's Dungy]

"Maybe I taught in high school too long, but I can generally spot a punk a mile away. Peyton sets off the radar, even with half a continent between us. That's why I'm betting the Colts for this game, and betting them BIG. I realize that makes no sense, and I'm not high yet. I just have a better sense for the dramatic than most. I see a rematch this winter... with a totally confident Peyton trying to replicate his regular season success. It is then that I see him taking that beating he so truly deserves. It will simply be more enjoyable this way. Colts 31-17" [The Belly Check]

 Is it Peyton's time now?

Peyton is going to start this game off with a bang, and won't keep his finger off the trigger. N.E. does not have a hope, N.E. haves tons of they players out, and they can't just fall back on Tom all be himself. The new D the colts have won't let N.E. off that easy this time around. Peyton and the colts are going into this game with a perfect season and will do anything to win. Peyton is going to show Tom who is the real boss. Colt win by 14 points end of story.

For all those with high hopes, The Colts will not win Monday night, it just won't happen Tom and the boys are going to once again spank Manning and send him on his way, so don't say you were not warned.

Colts at Pats....interesting developement about to arise and Tom Brady will be the most interested person as Freeney bops his bottom...again and again. It is time for the Dolts to become the Colts...and this will just be the start of their NFL second half dynasty......(ausch's ausch)

I'm a 57 year old grandmother that only took an interest in football 5 years ago. I just can't wait for the Colts to play. This is such a action packed game. I regret all the years I missed not watching it. Now due to health reasons I can only watch it on television. Peyton Manning is the greatest. Thanks Peyton for sharing your talent with us.
