More on T.O.

Since the what I wrote about T.O. on Friday morning is linked up from AOL's Welcome Screen packaging of the Owens story, it's up to 300+ comments and counting. Pretty amazing. I think the comment counter craps out at 500 (as evidenced by this entry and this one).

Anyway, enough bragging ... I'm a dork for even knowing this stuff. But since that's where all the traffic's running, I've been updating the bottom of it with T.O. commentary. Here's a snippet:

-- "What really is sad about this situation is that NONE of the other 52 players on the roster had the guts to stand up to T.O. and speak their piece. Only retired Hugh Douglas took him to task. (Is there any wonder Andy Reid made Douglas the "ambassador" of the team?) With what seems to be the eminent departure of T.O. the Eagles are going to lose the only player on the roster with real guts." [Out of the Brew]

Terrell Owens "Talk about me! More!"

To get more on (moron, get it?) T.O. through the eyes of unaccountable fan journalists such as myself, head over to Pigskin Bloggers.

All of us know that, T.O. is one of the most controvasial wide receiver in the league. But the action taken by the organisation was too hasting and drastic. T.O. came to Philadelphia, to help the Eagles win the superbowl and he did prove him self that, he is competent to make great plays. The organisation should have given T.O. a chance. I believed he should have caution after the suspension. But the fact lies with Mcnaab's selfish end. Mcnaab is the one who is messing the eagles up big time. He the one messed up the superbowl. Even this past monday night, Mcnaab defeated the eagles by 13 points.

Philadelphia should just cut their losses, pay T.O. whatever they need to and get rid of him. Enough already. He's nothing but a whining, self-involved pain in the butt and quite frankly, he's not good enough for a team to up with all the crap he brings with him. He's better at spouting his mouth off than he is at playing. I'm getting sick and tierd of hearing about it. What I think is funny is that he doesn't even realize that he's digging his own grave. Pretty soon there won't be a team in the NFL that will want to put up with him. He's acting like a 2 year old little girl who's trying to get mommy's attention. T.O., I think it's time for you to wake up and realize that football is a team sport and there's no room for a me person like you whose only concern is himself. Football is about the team and you should be more concerned about what's best for them and not you.
