Cris Carter Isn't Much of an Esiason Fan
There's a 60 minutes of fresh blog-driven radio up and on-demand replaying at Sports Bloggers Live, and my two favorite clips are when we discuss the Seventh Floor Crew with Pat Forde and when Cris Carter unexpectedly bashes Boomer Esiason no love. Seriously, here's what Carter had to say:
Lush: "Do you think Matt Schaub is a better QB than Michael Vick"
CC: "No, are you crazy? ... You're insane if you think Matt Schaub's a better QB than Mike Vick."
Lush: "Even [former SBL guest] Boomer Esiason agrees with me on this."
CC:" Boomer who?"
Lush: "Esiason."
CC:" Ok. Who's Boomer?"
Lush: "Boomer has a pretty good track record as a quarterback."
CC: "Boomer was not a great quarterback, and just because he's on TV, don't make him an expert."
That is verbal chin music, my friends. And I have no idea where it came from. Anyway, listen to the exchange (mp3), and here's the rest of the show broken out into bite-sized pieces:
-- Full Cris Carter interview | Carter on Colts-Bengals | Carter on Bucs-Falcons | Carter on T.O.
-- Full Pat Forde interview | Forde on Seventh Floor Crew | Forde on Iron Bowl | Forde on Miami-GT | Forde on Ohio State-Michigan
-- Full World Series of Poker champ Joe Hachem interview.
-- Full Court Mann (fantasy expert) interview.
Remember to tune in to SBL radio live on Monday night at 7 PM ET for a surprise guest.*
* OK, there's a 50/50 change we'll have J.J. Redick on the program. Haters rejoice.

Boomer must use MSN, or he'd already be kicking Carter's ass.

Matt started one game this year, the Falcons lost. He did however lead the offense on more towndown drives in that game than Vick has any any game this year. It is hard to say based on one game but everyone says that once Vick learns how to play the position he will be great. He has had five years and the way he runs he will be lucky to play another five. I think the Falcon better hope Matt is good because Vick will never be as dependable (injury wise) has Brett Favre or Payton Manning. By the way, while I still enjoy watching Vick play and I want the Falcons to win I am very disappointed in Vick lack of appreciation he showed to is team mates, fans, supporters, and companies would give him endorsement money in his after game speach two weeks ago. He mentioned his recievers finally caught the ball, his line finally blocked, he is the one that wins games, no one gives him any credit (have you seen his pay check, video game cover, mag. covers, jeresy sales) and that because he threw for 220 yards and l lead the office to and NFL all time record of 17 whole points that no one could ever question his ablities again. Can anyone say move over TO, hear comes MV with the new big mouth.
