Behind the Scenes of Sports Bloggers Live

I'm not sure if the world is ready for this, but Sports Bloggers Live has unleashed its first video podcast -- 'Behind the Scenes of Sports Bloggers Live.'

We've been podcasting SBL since March and have had a lot of success with it in terms of expanding our audience (including a guy on the set of Kong in New Zealand and a soldier stationed in Afghanistan who listened to our show weekly on their mp3 players). So when Apple released the video iPod this month, we decided to get with (or maybe ahead of) the times and do a series of short videos that our listeners could watch and hopefully get a kick out of.

As a result, this is our first effort ... written by me, starring most of the SBL cast of characters and shot by the Space Shark in two hours one workday afternoon. Enjoy, and please use the comments section to throw rotten tomatoes.

Watch the video.

Download the video (right-click and 'Save Target As').

I should also probably take this opportunity to grovel. If you aren't subscribed to the SBL podcast, please do so by going into the iTunes Music Store, clicking on the Podcasts directory, searching for 'Sports Bloggers Live' and clicking 'Subscribe.' That's probably the easiest way. If you don't use iTunes, go to the Podcast Alley SBL page and plug our feed into your podcast aggregator. Either way it's free and would really help us in our effort to secure a big-deal sponsor. Thank you.
