R.I.P., George Best


Beloved soccer legend and playboy George Best died yesterday at the age of 59 "after decades of alcohol abuse." For you non-British football fans (which is pretty much all of us), it should be known that Best was the Mantle of soccer (so says Deadspin Will).

Looks more like the Namath of soccer to me, although I guess Broadway Joe's still alive so the Mantle comparison is probably better. Regardless, R.I.P. you jolly old P.I.M.P.
