Shockey's Premature Celebration: Priceless
Many, many thanks to The Sports Pulse for posting the odds-on favorite for Best Sports Animated GIF of the Year: Jeremy Shockey's premature celebration as Jay Feely misses a potentially game-winning field goal (part one in a three-part series).
That they ended up losing makes this so much better.

Shockey what a joke, more interested in self promotion than what's going on on the field. What a tyeam player (sarcasm)! As for Holmgrun being a cry baby, the league said he was right, the refs blew the calls!!

Shockey's celebration was mild compared to Shaun Alexander's after the short TD run. Shockey's was on the side line for the camera, Shaun's was out in front of everybody. I guess you also missed the biggest cry baby of the game, Coach Holmgrem everytime the Giants scored, he had to throw his little red flag. The Giants had a great comeback with the pressure of having to score a 2 pointer which they did to tie the score and the usually competent Jay Feely hits one of those FG and you would be crying along w/Holmgrem. The comeback was much more interesting than what Shockey did.
