Sunday Night Pigskin Bloggers
The only NFL game watched by yours truly today was the one in St. Louis featuring a down-on-its-luck Skins team bouncing back by 7th Floor Crewing a rookie QB from Harvard (actual fan sign at the game: FITZ IS THE TITZ!) and a rush defense which allowed two DC backs to go for 100 in the same game since the Byner-Riggs administration.*
Anyway, here's what Pigskin Bloggers be sayin' about the NFL Sunday that was ...
Black 'N Gold Tribune throws in the Terrible Towel: "The Season is over, as much as I hate to say it. This team is not looking good, we have lost our third straight game and have been manhandled all three games, don't let the score fool ya. We were dominated."
Dave's Football Blog captures a great moment: "Hines Ward just busted out the Ickey Shuffle on a TD catch. That's going to piss someone off."
* I have no idea when the last time two Redskins RBs actually went over 100 yards rushing in the same game. Ernest Byner and Gerald Riggs is just a guess. I'm pretty sure Ricky Ervins and Reggie Brooks never made the cut, though.
