Hearing Bootsy Collins and a bunch of no-name Bengals
Fear da Tiger, Indeed
We all knew strange things were afoot when Cincy won at Pittsburgh two weeks ago, and now this is happening. Yes, the day has arrived that the Bengals have their own rap video, which is what happens when a team is 10-3 after missing the playoffs for 14 straight seasons and happens to reside in the same town as Bootsy Collins.
"Where T.J. Houshmandzadeh at?"
I'm all for team rap songs (see: The Super Bowl Shuffle, see also: The 7th Floor Crew), or even 12 year-old fan raps, but this is weak. It would've been great if Chad Johnson was breakin' or Carson Palmer was on the 1s and the 2s, but listen to this laundry list of Cincy stars rockin' the mic: Stacy Andrews, Duane Clemons, Jonathan Fanene, Shaun Smith and Ben Wilkerson.
Wow. I've only heard of one of those guys, and I'm not even sure which position he plays. "Who Dey" is right. And where were the Ben-Gals in all of this? Wouldn't they jump at the chance to be in a video? Anyway, watch 'Fear da Tiger'.
