Unloading the Prize Box

Thanks to you, dear readers of this blog and listeners of SBL, 2005 was a very good year. That said, we're unloading the prize closet on our unsuspecting audience by giving away as much cool stuff as we can without involving lawyers or digging into our own pockets. These are the details ...

The super-smooth Sports Bloggers Live Best of 2005 show is playing at sportsbloggerslive.com from Dec. 26th through Jan. 3rd and features 16 giveaways in just one hour of wiz-bang radio. Email dcsportsguy@aol.com with 'Best of Prizes' in the subject line to enter the random drawing and win something hot. Winners will be announced at the end of the next new show -- airing Jan. 3rd at 7 PM ET -- and contacted shortly thereafter.

Here's the list of prizes, in no particular order:

-- One (1) copy of the 'Blitz: The League' game for Playstation or Xbox

-- Two (2) copies of the book 'Three Nights in August' by Buzz Bissinger autographed by Bissinger and Tony LaRussa

-- One (1) copy of the 'MLB Superstars Show You Their Game' DVD autographed by Jennie Finch

-- Two (2) autographed copies of Bill Romanowski's book, 'Romo'

-- Two (2) autographed copies of Jere Longman's book, 'If Football's a Religion, Why Don’t We Have a Prayer?'

-- Two (2) 'Sound of the Game' CD box sets

-- Two (2) copies of the book 'Creating an Empire: ESPN' by Stuart Ivey

-- Two (2) 'NBA's Top 10 Greatest' DVD box sets

-- One (1) XL 'First Descent' longsleeve t-shirt

-- One (1) copy of the 'Murderball' DVD

So, yeah, there's lots of stuff, and you should probably email me now with 'Best of Prizes' in the subject line to enter the drawing.

2006 is going to be a 'Jam Up' year for the NFL. So many changes to come, so many moves...I just love unpredictability, don't you? Most of all, I plan on winning something from SBL!!!

Show me the $$! I can vouch for the good odds for I have won 2 prizes this last year. Although Iam waiting for delivery of the 2nd prize but I have faith. I think AOL blogging staff uses the Pony Express. Happy New Year Blog Crew!
