Earlier this week I posted photos of the shaving of the 'stache, but here she is side-by-side with two of the greater mustachioed gentlemen of all-time: Don Mattingly and Uncle Rico:
So, lesson learned. Never bet with your soul and your 'stache against Don Mattingly, because he will rip your still-beating heart out of your chest and mock you with it for not being able to grow lip fur like a real man. Like, at all. Look at that photo. That's two+ weeks of growth!
As usual, my favorite line from this ongoing saga comes via The Mighty MJD:
"You wanna talk about beards? [Fidel Castro] makes Jake Plummer look like Jamie Mottram."

If there's any Hispanic blood in the Mottram family line, it manifests itself in the area between the upper lip and the lower nose only.
Mattingly looks like he has a very bad cold.
