Hearing the Young Republic
The Greatest Rivalry: Carolina-Duke
When it comes to debating the greatest rivalry in sports, I go with Redskins-Cowboys. Of course, I also own burgundy & gold Mardi Gras beads, Monk, Green, Smoot and Arrington jerseys, Redskins pajama pants and a 2006 Redskins page-a-day calendar. But anytime you're talking about the best of the best, Carolina-Duke has to enter the conversation and they're playing in Chapel Hill tonight which brings us to two items:
1. Sportz Asassin, a Heels fan and hoops aficionado, breaks down the rivalry and picks Duke with his head and UNC with his heart.
2. Touching All the Bases posts this not-even-photoshopped pic, which is reason #1,322 to root against Duke:
