Morning Blog ~ Wednesday Edition
A few links found while floating through the sports blogosphere this morning...
· Ryan Leaf has been hired as a quarterbacks coach. Really. [The Mighty MJD]
· James Blake's girlfriend poses for Maxim. By the way, Blake is the tennis player who made a run at the U.S. Open last year. [Sports by Brooks]
· This new batting tee is way cool. [Baseball Musings]
· Gov. Jeb Bush may have committed a recruiting violation by text messaging on behalf of FSU. The message read, “I’m excited you’re looking at Florida State. When you come to Tallahassee again, let’s hook up with each other — Jeb Bush.” Urban Meyer is pissed. [Fanblogs]
· Finally, Germans race in woks. [The Sports Pulse]

James Blake has just gotten respect from me. He might have the hottest girl of any pro tennis player or athlete.

Curt Gowdy, Peobody, Ford Frick awards winner as well as the original host of "The American Sportman" and the man who broadcast the first Super Bowl and Hank Aaron's 715 career home run, passed away Monday February 20th with what seemed to be without any mention other than in local Wyoming media.
This announcer, who was on a par with stars the likes of Harry Carey, Red Barber and Vin Scully passed with what seemed to be not any mention at all from the broacast sports media that he helped to popularize. This is truly sad
