Hearing the Notorious B.I.G.
The Gayest Thing Ever Said
"I had art class [at Saint Joseph's] for an elective requirement and enjoyed it. Besides, they had naked models, so that was kind of interesting! But when they had male models, I refused to draw them."
-- Highly evolved Celtics guard Delonte West in ESPN the Magazine
While this doesn't necessarily mean that West is homophobic or even a closet homosexual (although both may be true), it almost certainly means he's not much of an artist.
And, no, I don't know what I'm doing reading ESPN the Magazine, but it has a half-naked Carl Edwards (99 car!) on the cover. I wonder how Delonte feels about that.
Related: What Delonte's ideal date would be. Sample: “We ain’t popping no Kris, that’s $500 a bottle. It ain’t that serious. It ain’t going to get you drunk. Make sure you put that in there. We ain’t doing a $500 bottle, we’re doing a $99 wine and dine.”

if delonte had some questionably gay comments, how about this on Bode's website:
"Our friend Brett, WHO DID BODE ON THE BUS LAST YEAR, was behind the camera..."
I didn't know the bus was THAT kind of place.

Re homosexuals and the term "homophobia" ... a "phobia" generally indicates an unreasonable fear of a person, place or thing. I have nothing in common with homosexuals, but I certainly don't fear them. I really don't have much to say about those people and am really getting bored with the entire subject. S'all I gotta say dudes and dude-ettes.~Dawg~

In the green away uniform, no one in Ireland looks more like a leprechaun than Delonte West.
