You Can Go Ahead and Turn This Motha Out
As Monponsett says, it's time to cancel your subscription to SI because MC Hammer has a sports blog. Hammer, who was an A's batboy in the '70s before headlining for Vanilla Ice in '90, is posting words, audio and pics on topics ranging from his son, his Hummer, A-Rod and, most recently, the NFL labor dispute. His words of wisdom on the CBA?
"Research it. Google it up. Come up with a solution and post 'em up... Hammertime. Take care. Bye Bye."
While Hammer's observations aren't the most riveting, he's a better sportswriter than one would imagine and I can't help but like the guy. He's just so damn earnest. And the '2 Legit 2 Quit' video was hilarious. So stay tuned. Hammertime. Take Care. Bye Bye.

I all fairness to him....despite his 15 minutes of fame ending about, oh, 12 years ago or so....he does have a decent sports history. At least one that most of us bloggers would drool over. He was a batboy for his favorite baseball team [the A's] and he owned a race horse called "Media One".
And, damnit, his Hip-Pop music can still be heard in various Euro soccer stadiums.
