Kirby Puckett died today after suffering a stroke over the weekend. He was one of the finest and most beloved players of my lifetime and regardless of the tragic end to his career and dark cloud that hung over his post-playing days, I'll always remember him like this...

    Look for Kirby to appear in a lot of rap songs... because his last name rhymes with "f*** it," and blacks don't call a cheap car a "bucket" anymore.
