Hearing Sports Bloggers Live March Madness preview show

Helping You Prepare for the NCAA Tournament

Sports Bloggers Live has a 100-minute bracket-filling show featuring writers from Rivals, SportsLine and Fanball, a cavalcade of college hoops bloggers and one big-deal coach fresh off of a major conference tournament championship. More to come on what was said (#15 Winthrop over #2 Tennessee?, "Bucknell beat off Kansas," etc.), but here are the host's Final Four picks:

 Everyone's picking UConn

Jamie Mottram (a.k.a. me, myself, I): Texas, UCLA, UConn and BC with UConn beating Texas

Erin "Eagles Bird" McCue: Texas, Pitt, UConn and 'Nova with UConn beating Texas

Chris "Intern" Mottram: UConn, 'Nova, Pitt and Duke with Duke beating UConn

Kevin "Lush" Nemeth: Texas, Kansas, UConn and Ohio St. with UConn beating Texas

Four out of four picking UConn or Duke, but at least some lower seeds make an appearance (BC, Pitt, Kansas) Post your Final Four picks.

OK, maybe not everyone is picking UConn.

Bonus: Join the SBL hosts' bracket pool for blogging and podcasting bragging rights! Those entrants winning or losing by large margins will probably be discussed at length on internet radio.

who ever said UCONN would blow out duke in the finals (if they ever met) would be ridiculous to say.  Unlike EVERY OTHER TEAM in the nation, duke never loses more than 10 or 11 points, especially in the past 6 years.  The most ive seen them lose by is around 10 to Maryland (who happened to be national champs one year), few years back.  Duke plays harder for 40 minutes than any other team, thats why they lose by 1 or 2 points, instead of 20 or 30 (Texas anyone?).  The other team has to earn it.  Duke never gets blown out....period. Im sick of this crap with BC and texas, because if they were as good as everyone says, they would have beaten Duke ALL THREE TIMES.  In terms of UCONN, they are all ahtleticism and size, thats it.  Thats how they win.  In 1999, duke was the clear favorites with 3 times the talent of UConn, but with hamilton and one other playr, they beat duke.  So talent is no guarantee.

My teams are Duke, UCLA, illinois, and villanova
