The WBC Is Probably Pretty Great


Team USA gets bounced from the WBC it was favored to win (or at least get to the finals of). Which brings up a few things...

· The WBC is really compelling.

· Apparently, the Americans played at a Spring Training level.

· I've hardly watched any of it.

· It should never be scheduled against March college hoops again. July or November would be nice.

· South Korea or Japan play Cuba or the D.R. Monday night for the championship.

    my take on the USA baseball embarrassment is this...jeter, jones, lee... YES...A-ROD, texiara NO...its one of the ironies of baseball that the great numbers someguys put up over a season are based on at bats against the number 3 starter pitching with a tired arm and a slight hangover...just doesn't work when you're looking at the ace and seven relief all stars followed by the closer...oh and one other thing...dontrelle willis...please, never again...
