Most Overrated Player in the Tournament...
I think it is safe to say that Pitt is a contender next year... evident by the Round 1's play Friday against a 'how'd THEY get here?" Kent State team. Fact is, Pitt would have beat anyone that night... Reason: Krauser sat when it mattered.
Pitt's Carl Krauser is by far and above the most overrated player in the Tournament. The announcers have sealed whatever fate Krauser dreamt, by telling the truth during the game commentary... basically... he sucks and Pitt is a better team without him. Pitt lost 7 games this year... all of which they were in... Krauser lost 6 of them for them.... Ramon, Kendal, Graves, Gray and Fields will take this team to the final four next year... without the playground antics of that idiot from the Bronx "X"... imagine being able to pull a Sam Young from your "bench"... ?
In any event, barring anyone else losing an eye from his dirty play... Krauser will assure that Pitt doesnt make it past next weekend... sadly... because THIS is a GREAT young team that plays defense, has an inside game, Rebounds!!! and has the best point guard in the NCAA in Ronald Ramon... (led the Big East and maybe the NCAA in Assist/Turnover ratio, and shot 100% from the field Friday. Just need to take the kid to a sports shrink that can convince him to "shoot"
C'mon Jamie Dixon, sit the "Old Man" with no future... let these kids play the game you taught them... not a weak interpretation of the WWF.... or "X"WF in Carl's case. -
