A Night of Shining Moments (and Man Tears)

A few links worth clicking with regard to the Duke-LSU, Gonzaza-UCLA and Texas-WVU trio of greatness from last night before I roll bounce to tonight's DC regional action...

· Morrison and Redick both cried on the court last night. Is that alright? Is there crying in basketball? Most fans seem to think so, but Morrison should've at least waited till the buzzer.

I fell asleep before the collapse.

· Redick haters rejoice.

· LSU coach John Brady's wife is name Misty Champagne Brady. Really.

· Burnt Orange Nation is glad to have their Tyus Edney moment.

· Sportz Assassin has full coverage of the night that was. And yes, he was right when he said Redick is not a good Tournament player.

Bonus Links: My Georgetown tidbits on Deadspin (Who wants to sex Mutumbo?)and George Mason's new theme song (Kryptonite!).

There is nothing wrong with a Man crying after the loss of a game. Afterall he puts his heart and soul into it and he is fiercely competative. As for his Team Mates being sick of him you are totally wrong and it was the UCLA Players not LSU  get your facts straight. If you grow up in any sport you are taught to compete at your best and be a winner so it was only natural to see JJ Reddick and Adam Morrison cry. That is the trouble with society today that tell men that it is wrong to express tears.

I had one guy try to tell me that Adam Morrison "staged" the lying on the floor after the game. He knew the cameras would be all on him so he wanted to do something for it. Whatever.

But clearly he should have waited to cry till after the game. I guess he just hates to lose that much.

What a finish though. I'm still amazed.

I am from Texas.  I am a Duke fan bigtime!!!!  However, I watched the Boston U. and Nova game tonight.  The network and the officials showed that they wanted Nova to win this game!!!!!  Commentators, Refs, and CBS were doing all they could to make sure Nova won the game.  Damn shame!  Poor officiating all the way!!!!!!  Well, they got their way, Nova, darling Massamino's group, gets a pass to the Final Four.  As we say in Texas, but half heartedly this time, Yippee-Kayo- Kay-Yea!!!!  Shame!  Shame!

Do you think that LSU players had to console Morrison because his own teammates were sick of him?
