Billy D. Gets His Shining Moment

I don't know if you knew this or not, but Florida dunked UCLA for the NCAA title. Literally. I think they set the unofficial record for dunks in a championship. It was like an And 1 game, except instead of a hype man we got Jim Nantz and Billy Packer. There's really not much left to say at this point, other than congratulations to the Gators and all of their annoying electric blue-and-orange clad fans.

Here's what bloggers be sayin' about the game that was...

· You could've bought tix for $20 outside the RCA Dome.

· Bruins cheerleaders taunted Joakim Noah so he blew them a kiss.

· My brother picks on crazy, evil Billy Packer.

· This totally blew our minds too.

· Mighty MJD discovers that the BK King is gay.

· Sports Pulse calls Joakim Noah the Most Outlandish Player.

· Bruins Nation is taking the loss with class.

· Dave's Sports Views calls Florida's run one of the best ever.

· Critical Fanatic says Florida will be ranked #1 in '06-'07.

Related: We interviewed Billy Donovan on SBL right before the SEC Tournament, you know, back when Florida was just some team and not the Joakim-led juggernaut that just went 11-0 in the postseason. Anyway, he was really cool. Hear the clip.
