Uncle Rico's Twin Plays On

Deadspin notes that '92 World Series MVP Pat Borders is still playing professional baseball despite being 43 years old and not having had a starting job in over a decade. Now, we're not talking about a championship-level team like the ones Borders played for in Toronto, no, we're talking about the Class A-level Palm Beach Dodgers. That's love and dedication to the sport, my friends. Good for him.

He can throw the football over them mountains.

Considering his prime coincided with that of Kelly Gruber's (who was inexplicably my brother's favorite player at one point) and he played with the immortal Rance Mulliniks, this story fascinated me so I went to Borders' baseball-reference.com page, which Seattle Marinerds sponsors and includes this tidbit...

"I will never forget the first time I saw Napoleon Dynamite, and they played Pat Borders's at-bat music, and Uncle Rico stepped out of the van, except he looked just like Pat Borders."

The resemblance is uncanny, really, but what's there song?
