Another Delicious Slice

Update: Here's the video.

My sixth Cold Pizza appearance came yesterday, and it was my favorite for a few reasons:

1. I didn't butcher it (for once).
2. I followed Joakim Noah on the program (I was once sandwiched between Xzibit and Carrot Top).
3. I sat in Tony Kornheiser's chair on the set of PTI for the interview (although I was not allowed to adjust the height).

For a humble blogger, it doesn't get much better than all that. Click through the pics in the gallery for terrible screenshots and follow the links below to see what we discussed in four minutes of "blogger buzz."

-- The Mighty MJD's 'If NBA Playoff Teams Were '80s Sitcoms'
-- Touching All the Bases' 'Tribute to the 1985 Clippers'
-- Clipper Blog
-- Baseball Musings' '1,000 Home Runs'
-- Need 4 Sheed's 'Zydrunas Retirement Options' and 'LeBron Retirement Options'

Many thanks to those who provided such great content. Without you I'd never be on ESPN 2 daytime TV, which I really enjoy doing (despite the deer-in-the-headlights look). And many apologies to all of the terrific sites out there that did not get mentioned. There's only so much time, and there's always next time. Hey, I still haven't gotten my brother's blog on TV, so you're in good company.

And if it's video you want, I have the show recorded on my DVR but no idea how to transfer it online (please help). At least Need 4 Sheed posted a snippet, and she also sent me this Sheedtastic rendition of, well, me, which I just have to share...

Update: By popular demand -- OK, maybe just Gayest Editor Ever demanded it -- here is Cartoon Jamie... with "dusty seafoam" eyes!

The best thing about being the Gayest Editor Ever is that both partners can watch Cold Pizza during the sex act.

Note to Need for Sheed (NFS): NFS, congrats on this very cool representation of Jamie aka DC Sports Guy. I'm impressed by the likeness.

Because of the expertise inherent in my role as The Gayest Editor Ever*, I feel compelled to point out that the eye color needs to be corrected if it's not too much trouble.

Besides his winning smile and almost perfect hair (ok, perfect hair), Jamie's main calling card from a physical standpoint are his showstopper eyes. They aren't blue, they aren't green, in fact the color changes constantly depending on their surroundings. Kind of like the ocean. But if you went with something like a dusty seafoam**, that would come close.

    Otherwise, NFS, outstanding.

that rendering is almost perfect...except for the lack of your patented "deer in the headlights" look.

...and don't think I'm upset I never make it... I didn't blog any sports this week. Still... work the home team in now and then, my man.
