This photo, courtesy of AOL Sports' Did You See That?, makes one call into question just how exactly we continue to be the dominant species on this planet. Why anyone would get into a ring with a bull confuses me, and why anyone would want to slay a bull with a sword for sport is even further beyond my realm of comprehension. Of course, I hate hunting too, but that's just me.

As Principal Vernon once said, "Don't mess with the bull, young man. You'll get the horns." Looking at this picture of a bloody bull barely missing the matador's man parts, I almost wish the bull had slightly better aim. Nice outfit, though.

  bull fighting's pretty messed up. it was awesome when a bull went into the stands at some fight a while back (http://zachls.blogspot.com/2006/02/bull-attacks-pistons-fans.html)...but to kill a pre-injured animal? cruel.

  What up bru?  Bull "fighting" is an astonishingly barbaric activity ... obviously for barbarians to "enjoy."  BigDawg is always for the bulls but unfortunately one can be fairly assured of the outcome.  But I still pull for the bulls.  As for hunting, here's where I split with guys like Nugent. Ted enjoys Bow and arrow hunting and at least he eats what he kills.  Hunting might be a little more of a "sport" if deer could shoot back. Lemme ax yall this.  Have you ever been to a slaughter house?  I have.  If the smell doesn't get you, what you'll see inside probably will.  I prefere my animals to come from a Safeway, a Kroger or Burger King.  I just try not to think of how it got there when wolfing it down.
  However,  I am a gun-guy.  Military training, the FBI Weapons Course ... have shot or qualified on damn near everything that is held or anchored.  I have a license to carry, a CWP (so does my squeeze.)
  But, the ONLY bull I kill is a paper bull's eye.~Dawg~

  stupid sport, i just wish that the blood streaming out of the bull's back actually belonged to the matador
