Dirk Loves Hasselhoff
Unless you're a Mavs fan, Dirk Nowizki should be your favorite player who's not actually on your favorite team. He parties. He ends statements with the phrase "Gong Show." He has got Lush's vote for MVP and the champs on the ropes. And now this. He sings a David Hasselhoff song to himself at the free throw line...
"You just try to relax. There are a lot of things going through your mind. I try to sing sometimes to kind of take the pressure off." Smiling wide and laughing loud, he said the song was David Hasselhoff's "Looking For Freedom," a big hit when he was a kid in Germany."
Listen to a sample. It's fantastic. An upbeat anthem about liberty and a change for the better that we can all get behind. And if it's good enough for Hasselhoff to sing atop the Berlin Wall during the German reunification celebration, damn it, it's good enough to help Dirk shoot 90% from the stripe.
