Just Say No to 7' White Boys
Last week I shared Jones on the NBA's list of the 20 best white American players of the past 20 years, and this week Jones proudly presents the 15 worst white players of the past 20 years. Making the cut are light-skinned luminaries like John Koncak, Greg Kite, Joe Wolf and others, and the post even includes a YouTube video of Shawn Bradley getting dunked on by Eddie Jones... twice in one minute. Of course, all of it is highly recommended.
In compiling this debate-worthy list, Jones comes to at least one startling revelation:
"GMs love to fall in love with and then overpay goofy, un-athletic white seven footers. Its one thing if the seven-footer is Andrew Bogut or Kevin McHale, and a whole other thing if the player is say Paul Shirley. The NBA and it’s fans need to have a campaign similar to the DARE to keep kids off drugs campaign. It should be something like just say no to seven foot white boys with army style crew cuts."
