Hearing the Zutons

Dewey [Evans] Defeats Truman!

Since Boston finally won a World Series in 2004, I suppose it's alright for this garment to come out of the closet and be worn by a long-suffering Sox fan or even a soul-sucking Mets fan. It's a Red Sox 1986 World Series champs t-shirt on eBay. The bidding starts at a pricey $86, but it is Starter apparel, which always makes me laugh...

Quick story: My brother used to rock a Dolphins Starter jacket in the Northern Virginia suburbs. This was during the Kris Kross era, so it was especially "wiggity wiggity wiggity wack" and was probably one of the countless reasons why I picked on him every single day. Well, that, and he collected rocks and his favorite baseball player was Kelly Gruber.

Tip of the cap to the Squire from the AOL Sports Desk Blog for the head's up on this auction.

This t-shirt must show that another dimension must exists! They must know where Jimmy Hoffa is buried(and the Lindberg baby is alive). Actually I'm a Yankee fan. I would say I usually mind but I despise the Mets as much as I despise the Red Sox. Also in Miami it's like we're Yankee fans from another dimension. We outnumber Marlins fans three to one. Heck even Mets fans outnumber Marlins fans two to one. Looking at how many people have jumped off the Marlins bandwagon now that they're lousy(even Red Sox fans in Miami outnumber Marlins fans) where did they go. Now they're back to 7,000 to 10,000 fans attending Marlins games at Dolphins Stadium. A large majority of those people who attended Marlins games in droves during the 1997 and 2003 world series must not know that the Marlins were still playing in Miami as they only know Spanish. They can't read or speak English which only leads to confusion. If you go to Miami, we're number one in road rage, vehicular accidents, driver's getting lost (on their way to the stadium, or not knowing scheduled game dates and times) and confusion. The most popular move in Miami is driving straight on the lane that says right turn only because they know only Spanish and can't read English(although some of them have been here 40, 17, 10 years and can't put a sentence of English together yet).
