A Banner Week for SBL
We've been going strong with Sports Bloggers Live for about 75 weeks and over 100 shows now but have never had a week like this. We did the usual two shows sure, but they were jam packed with top-notch guests, headlined by Don Mattingly, Tom Seaver and Big Red himself, Bill Walton. See all the guests and hear all the interviews down below, but do not go any further until listening to this promotional, stream-of-consciousness liner from Walton where he unleashes a sentence I had only hoped and prayed would someday cross his lips, "Throw it down, bloggers! Throw it down!"
Highlights include Donnie Baseball on going to our producer's wedding and missing his bar mitzvah, Tom Terrific on today's best pitchers and Walton inviting us to party at Club Red (his estate in San Diego).
Highlights include Soxfan talking about cheering Derek Jeter, Yay criticizing the "LeBron's leaving" contingent, Bad Boys talking smack about the Heat, Florio belittling Reggie Bush's agent, Magee saying LaMarcus Aldridge will go No. 1, Olney on ESPN canceling Bonds on Bonds, Craig going Gonzo and Catfish weighing in on Danica Patrick vs. Kelly Pickler.
