I've been to two backyard BBQs so far today and really have no business blogging right now, but I had to get online quickly to check out if my hero Agent Zero got arrested in South Beach f'real when out of the clear blue SBL's very own Craig Thomas drops an IM on me with a link to a picture he took at today's Coke 600...

  Damn, seeing all those picks on CT's blog makes me miss home.  Well, not the ones of the Necks in Concord.  
  
  But the ones on "Speed Street" in Uptown Charlotte [yeah, Charlotte calls their downtown "uptown"....or, now, Center City].  When the Final Four was there in 1994....I spent the entire week down there at the "Street of Champions".  Had a freakin' blast!  But that's hoops...and this is racing....so I'm not too sure how much of a good time I'd have.
  
  Either way, pass along my thanks to CT for putting Charlotte in a pretty good light [race fans aside].  Of course, we all can make fun of that Dale Earnhardt pool table above....but YOU KNOW FULL WELL that you and I would loooooove to have a Washington Redskins pool table adorning our rompus rooms, Jamie....lol.  And for every wild thing that's seen during the week at Lowe's.....we've all seen some things hanging outside our favorite college or NFL stadiums on gameday before.
