Little Drink From Your World Cup

As a lifelong soccer hater, I've never given a damn about World Cup. This year feels different though. I've been reading about it. Talking about it. Even blogging about it. And now that it has begun -- Germany-Costa Rica! -- I'm actually watching it.

For all of your World Cup needs, especially of the liveblogging variety, head over to WorldCupBlog.org. With at least a half-dozen Americans over in Germany, it truly is a whiz-bang operation. We're less than 15 minutes into the first match, and they've already taught me a new term: "cracker." As in, "GOAAAAAAAAAAL. Philipp Lahm with a brilliant cracker from just inside the corner of the box. Burries it in the corner. Lots of movement on the ball in air. Stunning start to the World Cup . 1-0 Germany"

A brilliant cracker. If that doesn't get you jazzed about soccer, then go to YouTube and watch Ronaldinho videos and hear Bob from World Cup Blog on SBL. One of those multimedia experiences, or both of them in concert, should do the trick.

 Ronaldinho!
