Hearing the White Stripes on AOL Radio

Impactful NBA Draft Pics

First off, our apologies that Skeets was unable to liveblog the action from MSG last night. The NBA just doesn't credential bloggers, however affiliated with almighty AOL they may be, so he didn't have a connection at the event. That said, he did have a video camera that picked up so many priceless moments over the course of the night, and he'll be posting those up on The Basketball Jones over the next day or two.

Regardless, being there was an absolute blast. From being immersed with the irate Knick fans to witnessing uncomfortable off-mic interaction (or lack thereof) between the ESPN talent to laughing at Skeets' spot-on Stephen A. Smith impersonation, it was just a great night. And that was before our departure coincided with the Madonna concert's crowd emptying out of the same building, which was a total trip.

Enjoy the pics in this here gallery and expect many more once Schrages the Producor gets his hundreds online. Oh, and my brother shot a ton of video from MSG as well, so... more to come for sure. Cheers!

Update: Schrages has posted a more expansive photo gallery and Skeets has posted a semi-recap.

* By the way, "impactful" is in the headline here because I heard one of the ESPN guys use that adjective to describe a baller's game, which is just terrific.

Notice how every time that you pay to send a blogger somewhere, they f*ck it up somehow?

I went to college for like 10 years, and I couldn't get that stupid Palm Pilot to work... nor could my husband, and he's technically a scientist.

Could you have hired Basketball Jones on the spot, to get him a press credential and internet connection? Sort of like how King Arthur was knighted in battle so as to take the submission of a fellow knight, or how a lawman may deputize posse members before they go and ambush some rustler?

Either that or have Erin sit in someone's lap until they say yes. I went to BJ's site last night, and he was interviewing a cabby.
