Hearing Giants @ Colts
Roger Federer beat a rejuvenated Andy Roddick for his third straight U.S. Open title, which makes him the first ever to win three straights Opens and three straight Wimbledons. So, yeah, he's pretty good but may want to keep an eye on what's going on in his box at Flushing Meadows...

Yes, your eyes don't deceive. That's Tiger Woods flanked by Jasper Parnevik's ex-nanny (aka his wife) and Federer's lovely lady friend, all enjoying the match together as the Swiss assassin shows no mercy in disposing of A-Rod. You'd think Tiger would be rooting for the American, but I suppose ties to one's corporate sponsor trumps ties to one's country. Especially when one's corporate sponsor pays nine figures.
But whatever, it was an entertaining tournament, as the Open almost always is. There was Andre Agassi's farewell, Roddpova's coming out party, Jimmy Connors return to NYC and, of course, Vince Spadea's star-making turn as a rapper. If you didn't catch it on Saved by the Blog or Lush Factor, here it is for you now...
