Hearing the Hold Steady

Wizznutzz Say 'Goodbye, Party John' in Song

The perfect storm has arrived, meaning the cosmic tumbling of the Wizznutzz' return and Peter John Ramos' release have occurred simultaneously. The 7'3" Puerto Rican may have only logged 20 minutes in a Washington uniform, but he endeared himself to many a DC hoops fan by displaying an uncanny fashion sense on the bench, dropping 15 and 7 for the NBDL's Roanoke Dazzle, riding shotgun when Andray Blatche almost got got and even headbutting Yao Ming in international competition.

The Wizznutzz are so affected by their beloved Party John's departure that they've recorded a song about it, a sendup of an Elton John classic, and titled it 'Goodbye, Party John Ramos.' But Wizznutzz don't stop there, though, no they don't. They've also made the Dagger Mix of the song and Party John wallpaper available for download, just for you, sports fans.

For more Wizznutzz tunes, including the inimitable 'Queen James,' head over to God Shammgod's Mix Tape, which is one of the funnier pages in internet history.
