Hearing the new Shins album (leak!)

Mike Tyson Is 'Playing With Power'

Via a tip from Saved by the Blog (aka my brother) comes this original Nintendo commercial for Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! What's notable about this, other than the sheer awesomeness of it all, is that Iron Mike plays his Punch-Out! on a wall of 36 TV screens rather than just one, big TV screen. Of course, that's probably the least weird thing we've ever known about Mike Tyson.

And in case you didn't notice, MJD revealed the first-ever NFL FanHouse power rankings last Tuesday. What's terrific about this, other than the fact that MJD is to sports blogging what Tyson once was to heavyweight boxing, is that he ranks all 32 teams in four tiers from best to worst: Mike Tysons, Soda Popinskis, Don Flamencos and Glass Joes. Brilliant. Look out for an updated edition each Tuesday in the FanHouse.

Update: While we're here on the Nintendo tip, Yannis has a Nintendo DS Lite and Mario 3-on-3 giveaway going on. Get in it to win it.
